lthough the Lights of Winter show began in 2013, we took the big leap of officially creating our business on July 25th, 2019 (Christmas in July)! Beginning in 2018 we started taking on clients and saw the potential to grow throughout Central Florida. During our first year in 2018, we decorated 4 houses, a few more in 2019, then in 2020 we skyrocketed to over 30! In 2022, we expect to decorate nearly 100 thanks to the tremendous support we have had over the years!
While we originally began as a holiday light show, the original Lights of Winter show at the Rogers’ Family home in Plant City, FL. was permanently discontinued in 2019 due to neighbor conflicts.
A sad ending to an annual tradition, but this closure also allowed us to grow our business in a way we never expected! We still offer "light show" services as part of our offerings and continue to expand year after year.
The owners, Nick and MacKenzie, met in the summer of 2018, and with the combination of Nick’s decorating background and MacKenzie’s business background, they are the two halves that make up the partners of Lights of Winter LLC that you see today. Along with these creative minds, you'll also see our many extraordinary team members that help us bring holiday magic to your home!

ick has been decorating for the holidays since he was 5 years old and quickly realized that it was a passion of his. He also loved going to Disney at Christmas time to see the lights! This special season included the famous Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights in (then) MGM Studios and Lights of Winter in Epcot. These two light shows inspired Nick to want to work at Disney and also to create his own musical light shows, thus forming his original Winter show. In the off-season, Nick is currently a front desk supervisor at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

acKenzie was always designated as the Christmas tree decorator in her house and cooks most of her family’s holiday meals. She is currently a concierge Cast Member at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort.
Mackenzie has a Masters in Business Management with a specialization in Organizational Leadership. during the off-season, MacKenzie is currently a front desk supervisor at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
